the thing with Tahj he is a millennial, despite the whole religion issue, he grew up in a toxic homophobic era and ppl use to call him gay in a negative gotch kinda of way... and he did previously state his sexual orientation... add to it his height, goofiness, flamboyancy, feminine attributes, ppl project on to him, all of this did a number on him

Shawn definitely gives queer vibes. Any video that catches him in a moment when he’s not aware he is on camera it becomes apparent. While it’s obvious that he tries really hard to stiffen up his mannerisms and deepen his voice when he is aware of the cameras. Hell, he’s even publicly admitted to the latter. However, “queer” or femme mannerisms or voice don’t equate to homosexual or “gay”.
The problem is being public figures at a young age, people can recognize your “quirks” early on and you become self-conscious and insecure about them and your masculinity and can get caught up in trying to show people that they’re wrong. Never mind the potential damage family and community and mental heal the struggles and religion can do or what potential traumas folks have experienced. Ultimately, no one (including Shawn or Tahj) should be forced to be publicly out. And gay jokes, even from out queers, is problematic and does more harm than good. While you can never know the exact dimensions of people’s sexuality, fetishes/paraphiliacs, preferences, potential fluidity or contradictions, lifestyle, motivations, where someone is in the gender, sexual, affection, romantic, emotion, commitment spectrum. But also, someone having queer dimensions isn’t often difficult to suss out if you know what’s up. Probably at least 30% of the population has queer dimensions/are on the spectrum. It’s not unique and special.
