Same thing happened to a mate in Broken Hill, Australia. He want to a local doctor [who is circumcised] and requested a circumcision. The doctor asked him why? My mate replied that he wanted to look like his mates, all of whom were circumcised. The doctor talked him out of having it done.location of birth California

I like the old adage, 'if it works don't fix it'. The same applies to the intact penis. Circumcision is usually unnecessary, unless one develops phimosis, which is rare.Age: 47

Why you are uncut: Only male in my family and from what I saw none of the males in the family were circumcised. Not a custom of doing so. I observed that most of the male family members had their foreskin retracted by choice and preference I would assume. Followed the same and kept mine retracted. Unfortunately while in the Navy out in California, I was persuaded to get circumcised and initially I worked with it but actually don't like now. Really regretted it.
I don't think phimosis is rare. I know that many young guys struggle with at least slight phimosis.I like the old adage, 'if it works don't fix it'. The same applies to the intact penis. Circumcision is usually unnecessary, unless one develops phimosis, which is rare.
The more I read about it, the more I think I’ve got at least a mild case. Without lube, it’s painful to retract fully when hard. Doesn’t take much lube, spit, or even water, but the skin is definitely tight when pulling.I don't think phimosis is rare. I know that many young guys struggle with at least slight phimosis.
It's actually less than 10% today. Since about 2000 the rate has dropped substantially further from a base that's been declining since the 70s.When I flew off to Australia for the first time in 1980 I landed in Sydney. A mate, who like me belonged to a gay nudist club, suggested that I visit Lady Bay [aka Lady Jane], a clothing-optional beach in Sydney. I did so. What amazed me was the fact that all the males on the beach were circumcised. A asked one of the young men there why this was so. He replied that it was a social custom [roughly 85% to 90% of Aussie men were cut at the time]. Thankfully, that's no longer the case, with less the 20% of Aussie boys being 'cut' today.

Why you are uncut: Wasn't covered by medicaid
The removal of circumcision from Medicaid reimbursement is certainly saving a whole lot of foreskins in the United States. Excellent work. Be proud to be uncut and have an intact, natural penis, the way it's supposed to be.I'm glad it wasn't covered. You're lucky you're intact.
Mate, that is a very impressive foreskin. You're 100% straight so I'm not going to be that creepy gay guy, but do some internet research on methods to get that hood fully retractable. It should be fairly easy if you've already got decent retraction rather than being super-tight. Whatever you do, please don't let anyone talk you into getting circumcised. Not a doctor, especially not a girlfriend. Nobody. Your dick is perfect how it is, no matter how short or long your foreskin, and once your hood is gone it's gone forever, and your cock will never be the same.I also can't fully retract .
When I'm fully erect I still have a good 1 to 1.25 inch of foreskin hanging over my glans.
I am part Cherokee. My grandfather lived on the reservation in NC. I have seen several Cherokee men nude and none were circumcised. I have seen men from other tribes and none of them have been cut either. Circumcision is not the way of nature. The Mexican / European heritage of being uncut is unsurprising, and from what I've heard, Amish never circumcise either. What I wasn't familiar with is all Cherokee Indian folks being intact (or at least all the ones who made comments in this thread thus far). I wonder if this varies depending on what is common from different tribes in the United States, or if most all Native Americans are uncut?
Funny but true story - the first time I ever saw an uncut cock at all was in a porno booth, watching a Native American guy doing a rain dance. I had no idea at the time that I was the one who had the World's minority looking cock (I'm cut).
