He wasn't in Skam 6 along with the rest of the old cast, I actually haven't seen him in anything new sice the end of that Netflix series, I hope he returns soon.

I wonder if he has decided to quit acting, since has been travelling a lot lately and has just published a book, which would explain why he hasn't acted in anything in the last couple of years.

From what I've seen the old Skam cast only shows up in the very first episode (apart from Federico Centorame/Elia, who had a prominent role as he is friends with the new characters), and Gio is only mentioned as being abroad I think but still dating Eva, while the rest of the old cast shows up at a party.
If the actor had been available, I can't see why they wouldn't ask him to show up in that scene with the rest of the old cast (instead of explaining his absence through a line of dialogue), thus I believe his absence was a choice from the actor, not from the writers.

Maybe between cinema, TV series, television programs he didn't find the success he thought he would, he decided to travel and "find himself", he wrote a book, and first he started working on sculptures... he's looking a bit its place in the world. Maybe even in porn haha
As a joke he talked about OF, but perhaps for fun, for a challenge or for artistic experience he wants to try it.
I believe he is one of the best actors of his generation and, joking aside, I hope he returns to acting.

Yeah, looking at his IG profile I had the same thought about him looking for his place in the world.
He did make a joke about having an OF profile but a couple of days later he joked again, "I'm not getting OF yet".

I agree that he is pretty good, he was definitely among the best actors in SKAM Italia.
