It's more complicated than that. His Dad, Bobby Cannavale has a Cuban mother but his father (Salvatore Cannavale) is Italian.
Jake's mother, Jenny Lumet, is the product of a marriage between a Jewish father, Sidney Lumet and a biracial mother who is the daughter of Lena Horne.
Jake is pretty much the entire ethnic state of New Jersey in one person.
