It is also a discussion board not only a porn site. But you have to love the sinner in Christianity and you are aware that you sin everyday. So you can be here. Jesus also spoke with the outsiders of society.

The word sin is misstranslated. Jesus spoke Aramaic and that world means something like mistake, if I remember correctly. You should not repeat your mistakes/flaw, but you should not feel guilty. Feeling guilty is self-judgement.

But you should realize that you were wrong and love yourself (and others) despite your mistakes (sins). And you should also not judge others (that is also what Jesus said), because that is also wrong.

Seriously dude, stop fucking preaching at me.

It's rude. I don't give a shit what Jesus said. At all.

Edit: ok that's was also rude of me. Uncalled for. But I don't care what Jesus said, I care about how people use religion to make one another feel guilty, and whether or not you have experienced it that's what happened in my community. I was raised Catholic. I do not whatsoever need to be preached to or taught about Jesus by anyone.

I'm happily athey and I don't need Jesus to feel fulfilled. If his teachings provide that for you, I'm happy for you. But don't push it on me please. I won't tell you to stop believing. I don't appreciate being told I should

I really don’t care about Jesus / god and haven’t. For many years ..

Last time I sat at church I heard the preacher for several weeks talk about how homosexuality was evil and was a sin .. then it seemed like he was always looking at me a lot..( for reasons I can’t say) —- I stood up and walked out.. never went back since

I got into arguements with family over this.. and I was like just because it’s not in your Bible doesn’t mean Jesus didn’t explore another man’s body..

There was a book years ago called the last temptations of christ where he did things that’s not in the Bible.. caused a lot of controversy of course .. then even controversy when made a movie ..

I think it’s funny we are supposed to believe in a god that he created everything in a religion that has barely been around little over 2000 years

I like when you post things. Saves me the trouble of saying the exact same thing.

Religion talk on a website called Large Penis Support Group is just silly to me. Unless there's some religion based around the carnal nature of our being. In which case I still probably won't join but I'd appreciate that more than anything offered in any major religion.

Christianity in particular always feels so damn judgmental about shit. Sinners and saints. Us and them. All these useless false dichotomies, lines drawn in the sand on some imaginary beach. You can keep it, I'm all good over here.

There are fanatics in all beliefs, human as well as religion. Most seem to forget that spiritual beliefs have been with us since we evolved as a species. From the first moments we left handprints in caves 60,000 years ago...here in Australia anyway. Most of us, nearly all of us feel a connection to what gives us life, the rock we live on.

Religion is a human construct, spiritual connection runs much deeper than this.

Religion, like anything of human construct, being the predators we are, preys on this to gain power over our individual spiritual beliefs. I myself don't judge what beliefs others have, that is until a religious belief does not accept my individual views and threatens my being or those I love to conform to there beliefs.

I am lucky to live in a nation where people are free to practice their own thing, yet there are many places on this planet this is not the case.

8 Billion people on the planet. 1.5 billion drive cars. 6.5 Billion either ride pushbikes, motorbikes, catch a train, can't afford any of those and walk or are too busy trying to live day to day. Have never used a mobile phone, a computer or ever hope to. All they have are their beliefs, superstitions....whatever.

They have survived thousands of years in doing so, longer than any religion. It is no-ones place to threaten or force change. Like ours, well....what is "Ours"? :), it must start from within, not be forced from the outside. Would anyone try and force a whale to breathe any differently?

As usual, I'll look at this tomorrow and think WTF :)

"They" as in Christians?

wait, i've always read that Hinduism is the oldest religion. have i been lied to??

or am i misunderstanding the phrase "longer than?"

yeah i'm confused by what "ours" is referring to. our ... spirituality?

If you wish to take the time to dissect a post, surely you can take the time to answer the full context it is placed in. Are you a journalist that enjoys twisting, taking out of context what is said for the sake of argument?

Let me state it plainly for you. I'm a spiritual person, not religious. Religion is a human construct to conform the masses to one belief or another.

Spirituality has existed since humans first placed there hand prints on walls of caves, art. Placing their prints on rock knowing that the earth, it's life, the water, trees existed long before theirs, knowing that they were a part of this cycle, part of it's evolution or creation. Not knowing when it began...but it must have had a beginning, and not knowing if it will end.

We know probably 5%-10% more than they did 60,000- 100,000 years ago. We have a plethora of theory, very little is proved, yet we make discoveries everyday, now, we probably have more questions than they had those 100,000 years ago.

Don't cut up my post up and paste it in inverted commas like a ransom note, then interpret it with your bogus questions.. How Juvenile :)

I'd rather ask for clarification on things so i can fully grasp and understand what a person is trying to convey instead of misunderstanding or making assumptions. I don't find that juvenile at all, but actually quite the opposite.

I was simply asking for clarification on your post as an attempt to better understand and possibly learn something new, for example l, that maybe what I read about Hinduism is actually wrong and/or there are different theories that other religions have been around longer. I apologize that you feel my curiosity and request for clarification is juvenile.

If someone questions or is confused about a statement I make, I prefer that they ask me to clarify. This is why I do the same to others.
