Wow, just found this thread but it looks like it's been dormant for a decade. I loved Alias Smith and Jones as a kid. The two leads were so handsome and there was that slight homoerotic element to their best buddy-type friendship. I remember one episode when Ben Murphy was lying shirtless in a hotel bed up above a saloon bar. There was some plot element involving stolen gem stones and as he lay there, a diamond fell from the ceiling and landed in his navel. I had dreams about that for weeks afterwards!
