Hi everyone. I’m new here so I’m not sure if this is the right spot to post this or if this is even allowed.

im thinking of becoming a sex worker. I’ve been a gogo boy before and that lifestyle has always intrigued me. There’s a show called The Girlfriend Experience and I think I would be great at that. I’ve also considered an OnlyFans.

for those wondering: I have a career but I just find it so limiting.

would you hire me?
xoxo,
-Los angeles

Just don't. The former prostitutes and escorts/ sex workers I am friends with all habe said how prostitution/sex work was by far the worst way they ever made money, it was degrading, psychologically and physically damaging, and the clients were the worst especially the clingy types, the possessive type who think they are being "monogamous" or actually dating or in a relationship/partnership with an escort/SW, and the type that want to play Captain save a ho but have no issues with seeing prostitutes/SW and have the attitude of "I don't care if you do not do (insert sex act here) I am paying and I get to do whatever I want!" or that because they are trying to "save" an escort/SW it means they have free sex, free use, the escort/SW is always available at all times.

Thank you for your candid and honest answer. I will definitely take this into consideration

You look like a nice guy and I'd hire you but I know that sex-working industry is not a good place. There're a lot of risks, a lot of disgusting things there. It's usually assosiated with drugs, crime and so on. And also it's not so easy to have a sex with every random person who hires you. So be careful. But it should be only your decision. You can try if you accept all the risks

I'm glad you have "a career". I've been seeing escorts now for 6 years. The happiest ones have other outside interests (and income streams) that keep them busy and allow them to have the clientele "they" want. So they don't encounter situations nor individuals that compromise them or their tastes and values. Check out rent dot men. Maybe you can connect with a few guys and get their impressions. Good luck!

From a purely aesthetic point of view: yes, you're hot and you're very much my type too. I would pay to fuck your ass.

If it's a sexual fantasy and/or a kink, by all means I would say explore it, but in a safe way.
But don't drop your career for it. As silly as it sounds... Being an escort is not a specialised job. Would you drop your career to work at McDonald's?

And besides, as an escort you won't build retirement money. At a certain age your body sells less, so typically you'd have to compensate by becoming a dominator or something like that. And if you drop your career to be an escort for a couple years, it might be difficult to get back into that career at a later stage.

While I don't think there ought to be a stigma around something like sex work--because that only begets shame and obscurity (which are fuel for the dark side of sexuality)--until humanity AS A WHOLE attains a level of emotional maturity and empathy on par with Mister Rogers, Mother Theresa, or Kay Parker: I would never want for anyone to choose that life.

Same as I wouldn't WANT anyone to choose to become a professional boxer or MMA fighter either.

Actually--notice--the really weird thing is: that society has somehow unconsciously decided to regard giving someone a professional beating with more esteem than it does giving someone an orgasm. How is that even possible?

It's a difference literally between sending someone to the hospital and sending them off to sleep nicely--an act of compassion! That's how completely screwed up we are.

Anyhow, you don't deserve to be treated badly ever. No one does--no prostitute, dancer, or sex worker of any sort deserves to be treated less than the angel of mercy they truly are.

Best to avoid putting yourself at risk. My vote is for nay (don't do this).

I agree with the other’s sentiments regarding the much larger cons of sex work. Only Fans on the other hand has almost become as mainstream and accepted as Disney. Kidding but you get the idea. With OF you’re the CEO and don’t have to deal with any randoms. You can do collabs if and with whomever you choose. There’s a shit-ton of money to be made if you’re great at the marketing and value proposition. If you’re not it can satisfy your kink.

You look great and I got a boner from seeing your thong pic. I’ve known rent boys who are tough enough to enjoy it avoid getting screwed over. On the other hand I’ve known guys be abused / raped and be pushed into unsafe scenes where they’ve gone beyond their limits. If you are mentally strong then it might be for you. OF is a safer route in but your image is then out there, out of your control. DM if you want to chat privately

My partner and I have discussed doing a show for couples on chaturbate. We decided not to becuase she gets sore after around 10 minutes of penetration. You have to stay around a couple of hours to collect enough tokens for it to be worth while. And that would be too difficult for the both of us to have stop and go penetration for a few hours.

I also asked her if she wanted to start up an onlyfans page. She could easily make a couple thousand dollars a month doing solo and sex scenes. But we are working professionals so that would be difficult because not everybody out there is that accepting of sex workers. And it would be really awkward.

You really need to figure out if the risk is really worth the reward.

It's not a fantasy life you see on television or in the movies.

I've done sex work twice in my life. The first was at the hotel where I worked in college. That was all straight work with women in their rooms after hours. It wasn't my intention to do it. I just fell into it when patrons started inviting me to their rooms and tipping me for the service--which spread by word of mouth.

The second began in my late twenties when doing MT. Again it wasn't my intention to do sex work. Nor did I advertise it. Some of my clients asked. I accepted a few on a case by case basis after establishing clearly that it would not longer be a professional therapist-patient relationship. I serviced both women and men. I was only willing to take on a limited number of regulars. Again it generated referrals. I even made house calls.

My advice:

- Know & vet your clients in advance. Get to know each person in advance same as you would meet for coffee or a meal with a grinder/tinder contact before hooking up. Weed out the weird, the unstable and the drug users.

-Establish boundaries and limits in advance so you know exactly what they want and they know exactly what is on offer. No surprises.

-Never talk money-for-sex. It's probably a cop, a neophyte or someone poor. Those who want it know and will make it worth your while without saying it.

-Def keep your day job. This is something you do on the side not for compensation.

-Go for quality not quantity.

-Always use protection.

-Get tested regularly if not already.

-Only do it or keep doing it if you enjoy it. Giving a pleasurable experience is memorable and kept mine coming back for more.

Even vetted it's having sex with a stranger for the first and sometimes only time.

Good luck and be safe.
