It’s too bad that he left porn before OF really took off. I think he could have done well there.
He could have been in the top few creators on the platform. He hasn't cammed since 2018 and 5 years later people still talk about him. Also people that discovered him after he left see his stuff and wish they discovered him when he was active.
The thing Sam had was not just that he's hot, but he also was a cool person and had a personality that made him fun chatting with. He interacted with viewers. There are a lot of former and current cammers that are really hot but I never go back into their rooms after the first show because they just sit there silently and there's no personality to it. If you are the type of viewer that likes to chat with guys, you could actually form a friendship
Every viewer I ever saw that gave him their actual name, even if it was completely different than their username, he remembered it and greeted them by it. There were probably a hundred or so people he knew on that basis. I've never seen anyone do it on that level

knowing the business person in him, he probably would have done two options, a pay subscription with no ppv and a free version with ppv for long posts plus some free pics and vids. It would address both customers that way, the people who wanted everything and those just that wanted select things
I'd imagine his content would have been similar to his stuff he used to offer off ManyVids which was mostly studio length and quality.
For me, it would be a no-brainer OF sub were he on the platform today. He'd make more income than I do annually working my M-F 40 hour-a-week career. He also would have a line of people who wanted to collab if he was interested in doing collabs.
It's pretty common for people to equate looks and attraction, but they aren't the same thing. I've known many people who were hot but that I'd never begin to be attracted to because what's underneath the surface was nothing to speak of. It's the beautifully packaged candy bar that you open and try for the first time but tastes like shit, so you never get fooled by the package again. What's inside matters. Sam was awesome at what he did because he had something attractive inside as well as outside

That whole era was wild, tbqh. I miss those streams greatly. The banter alone was worth sticking around, even if 70% of it was always derailing the sex lol. I used to talk to the gang frequently (was one of their mods), and honestly it was a shame that they had intentions to expand but decided to pull the plug. Looking back, it's like remembering high school crushes almost.
I wish them well, but post COVID seemed to shift digital sex work a lot, and I don't think the HHS boys' (and Shane for that matter) appeal is able to compete with how overly saturated the industry is right now.
I think too that sites like OF, while being a benefit for creators as a marketplace, has also changed the industry in dramatic ways and has diminished the interactive aspect of camming sites like CB as more performers have switch over to OF more than camming, often due to being able to do an OF page more conveniently in their own time schedules. Camming is a bit more hard and fast "I have to do it daily at this particular block of hours to get the right returns. OF vids on the other hand are easy to create when it's most convenient for you and then just upload when you need. I think as a result, CB rooms have become far more robotic.
It's cool you got to mod for them. I always found you guys an entertaining part of the show
They did cool shows. It's rare to find one when the sit around and just chat times are as much fun as the "sexy" stuff

Personally I like the chat on CB more than the bate, but in the case of HHS, I found the their carrying on their inane babbling throughout the sexual parts killed any of that appeal that existed. Their whole vibe was ADHD -- even their hair (head, facial and body) were all in a constant state of flux. Johnny and Ian were the only ones I found attractive, but Ian usually killed the mood by breaking character and giggling at the "critical moments". When I did watch them, it was usually on mute.

I do miss helping them run the ticket shows, and I do miss the back and forth I myself had with the chat as well. I think most of us in the old mod squad do. The times they would bring in guests for collabs we'd be trying to keep up with hundreds of viewers, and in my opinion that's where a LOT of their better content really came from. It's sad that things changed so much though, because it worked really well for a while; the guys knew that their brand of attractiveness was entirely unique from the typical page one performers, and a lot of familiar names would always be around in the chat keeping things going. Who knows; maybe when Sammy and Johnny are settled down and finished with school they may reconnect with Ty Justin and Ian.
They did good shows. I think after that many shows for such a long time, it's just natural that the heart isn't in it as much. Towards the end it seemed more like they cammed because they were supposed to than really wanting to. It's hard not to suffer burnout in any aspect of life. Hopefully they all are well and happy doing whatever they are up to these days.
