It guess it depends on what you work on and how you eat.
Maybe he likes it that way.
Someone told me that men are more attracted to big muscles than women and since Max does a lot of "straight modeling" he tries to stay fit without getting too big.
He’s a model not a body builder, they have height/weight/shape parameters they fit into to make the clothes and the woman (because he does a lot of wedding tuxedo/suit work) look good. Big pecs aren’t part of that desired look by clients …. And not everyone wants “tits” on their men
