Before he gayified himself on instagram, 90% of his fans used to be girls (and they're still the majority I believe, just the ratio has changed). He literally became famous from being featured on numerous straight fanfics. LPSGers think Manu is so fruity that nobody can think otherwise, but this video literally features him grinding against Santi and the girlies in the comments are rather worried about that girl.
He has never accepted being gay, so the delulu gonna be there with some people.
Gayified?
I watched the clip, idk which one Santi is (or what gender
) but the chubby lass in glasses (you can’t say chubby anymore, can you? The body-positive lass?) is
evidently a hag. The kind that secretly carries a torch for him, but a hag nonetheless.
nah that poster is constantly trying to push some sort of manu is straight agenda, which is something girlies in fandoms constantly do to queer celebrities.
a few months back troye sivan posted a pic of him with his sister and the girlies were going rabid thinking he had gone bi and was dating a girl. influencer benji kroll, who is openly bi but only known to have been with men, had the same issue when he made a tik tok with his sister, and the girlies immediately thought that was a girlfriend.
they do that shit to real people, but also fictional characters. like writing fanfics about gay male characters getting together with a woman. like when shadowhunters was airing, so many of the female audience were making alec go bi or go straight for clary.
so no, that poster isn't harmless. they're just one of the many girlies who will see a gay man with a woman and immediately talk about him going straight
I must say that I still think you should give
@XAronXx the benefit of the doubt, even if they tend to view rather innocuous details with blinkers on. (And even after the fallacies/alternatives were pointed out)
But I now better understand where you are coming from, and understand why your response was as fierce and unforgiving as it was. That’s highly disturbing behaviour and not something young people coming out, or in their own, need.
In fact, I was unaware of this … trend? (Obviously, I was aware of toxic hags, I think we’ve all fallen victim to one or more of those. One of the reasons why I almost exclusively socialise with men)
@andre1000 Could you provide a link or a few keywords where I can observe this behaviour?
