Isn’t it more likely, given that they have a single pic that’s available online , that someone is using a picture of him?
It's 99% likely a fake account. As someone who lives in the location mentioned. Have seen countless profiles over the years using pictures of people from Instagram.
Most of them used the old scam I haven't seen in years. Where they pretend to be that said person, then say they want to meet up, but send you a link to a website asking you to fill in your credit card details to prove you are not a "bad person". I'm sure plenty of gullible people thinking with their dicks fell for that one. Not sure what scam methods are common these days.
But also likely it is just a catfish, someone trying to use a famous persons identity to score nudes off others. I wouldn't get too excited. Normally I just check said persons insta story and see they are in another country on the other side of the world.
Or bots. Have seen a few popular porn stars or only fans creators flood grindr with profiles popping up in every city in the world. Could be bots. Or OF creators using some program to bot their way around Grindr and try grow their views, which is annoying.

Makes sense. I'd usually call BS, but Luke had recently said in an interview that he will be traveling to the Solomon Islands in the near future. So it's 100% possible he was in Australia (or still is)! I personally think this was a real Grindr profile.
Also, I cannot find the profile picture online anywhere, even using reverse image search on several websites. This also to me suggests that it's really him, since a catfish would have to take a photo from online somewhere, in which case we could easily find it. But I can't find this photo anywhere. Open to being proven wrong!
According to this Instagram post in which Luke is tagged, he was indeed on the Australian coast in the last few weeks.
The pic is a bit more wholesome than your typical Grindr profile, but I’d love to believe it was him. Shocking then there’s no hookup stories or previous sightings of him…

well well well… if indeed a true profile, kinda a big day… YEARS of speculation put to rest.
Pretty cool his profile isn’t an anonymous torso pic, which indicates he‘s at least out in his private life and comfortable with himself at that. Probably a good indicator he’s not asexual after all either.
