No. Most HS fans, like 90+% of them, are not chronically online and don't bother trying to get in dumb fights over nothing. They just watch the show, enjoy it, maybe post on Reddit once, and that's it. Stop allowing a tiny, tiny group of people to control the narrative. They only have power if you let them.

Unfortunately, while you're not wrong about these weirdos being a minority, they're absolutely not that tiny. There's a reason why the popularity of the show doesn't match the lackluster number of
productions that came from popular shows like fanfics, fanarts, etc and even in porn-driven websites like LPSG you find people clutching pearls about one of the most prominent married queer artists meeting the actors (adults) . Kit's threads, while him being not on DNP list, are not recommended because only takes a few days to be nuked.
I was on the team for one of the biggest websites dedicated to BL/Yaoi/Slash culture for years and everyone working there knew the pain in the ass having to wrote anything related to HS. Doesn't help the fact Oseman herself being an uneducated person when it comes to not white European realities.
