He went viral for allegedly saving a girl from a weird situation. He pretended to know her to save her from a stranger. Although these things HAVE happened and still do unfortunately (and would happily take back what I said if it were true), he clearly did it for clout and it looked staged.

It made its way to buzzfeed and everything. Here I thought the vlog squad staged everything but he takes the cake lol
