Russia doping: Athletes hope to escape Olympics ban

Published on Jun 21, 2016
Russian athletes may be able to escape a ban from the Rio Olympics in August. Their careers were in limbo after the world governing body for athletics imposed a ban over allegations of state-sponsored doping.

The International Olympics Committee supported this suspension, but has made some concessions, as Andrew Simmons reports from Cheboksary in central Russia.

The Blues have stumbled on to the right Origin II team

State Of Origin I was a shocking advertisement for rugby league, but the second clash promises to offer more, especially for those people who only care about rugby league for three days a year.

Venus Williams, whose last major title was the 2008 Wimbledon gong, is into the semi-finals at the All England Club with a potential final showdown with sister Serena still very much on the cards.

Ramsey will be a big loss for you... You've always Dangerous Dave to call on...

No doubt Portugal will try and bore the pants off everyone!

Ramsey and Allen have been two of the best players in the tournament. Pretty much the whole Wales Squad has put in a PB. I would have given us better odds to beat Portugal than Belgium, so let's just see if the boys can do it again. The waiting is killing me.
