You are not forced to say anything. But you are being too vague. You are the one who implied that something went wrong. So they must have did you wrong somehow. Otherwise you would never said that you were happy to never meet them. Its just common sense. So theres something they said to you or something they did that you had a problem with. At least, this is what many would think. Thats why your claims comes off as empty. Because you are not even giving a clue. You just repeated yourself that you are happy you didnt meet them.
