The other evening, my soon-to-be ex-husband looked at me and said, “You know, you’re not Chrysalis anymore.”

I’m forced to admit he’s right. I have broken out of the cocoon. My wings are still fragile, but I am a butterfly, and will get better and better at flying.

I feel so strongly about this that I am changing identities on LPSG. I looked for butterfly names I liked, and out of those, looked for butterflies I thought were beautiful. I chose the “Holly Blue” butterfly (also known as Celastrina argiolus).

So, my new username is HollyBlue.

I hope this does not piss off the moderators.

You may have noticed that I have taken Chrysalis’s gallery down. In a few minutes, HollyBlue’s gallery will go up. Some of the pictures are the same, some have been removed, and some are new. I want everyone to know that although your kind ratings and comments to Chrys have disappeared from LPSG along with her gallery, they have not disappeared from my heart.

One last thing I want to clarify is that in announcing my freedom, I am not issuing an invitation. At this time, I am not looking for new sex partners or relationships. I am simply being honest about my life, so that I can continue to participate in LPSG genuinely, as the person I am now. I truly love it here, and I couldn’t continue to post candidly without revealing what is happening in my life.

Welcome to LPSG as a new butterfly. Sorry to hear about what is happening, but I applaud you for being positive about it all.

Just a note, it's not going to piss us off that you have a new name. Just keep posting as HollyBlue and it's all good.

Though it is always sad to hear about an ending of things. I am so glad you are still going to be part of this insane family. YOu have our love and support. As for us getting mad... we only do that when you post from several personas at a time.
