This has not been an easy start to the school year. I was doing really great and absolutely loving my new school and putting together a concert series for palliative and long-term care facilities for the upcoming year to get music students out of their practice rooms. There have been a few setbacks.

A little over a week ago I started having another bout of something which is too lengthy to describe but I get this several times a year, this time being the worst and still going strong....

Hey everyone, I missed this place! But I'm back now. A little older, a little wiser, and did a lot of crazy things.

Well, farewell for now. I'm 24 hours away from my flying to Europe, and I won't be back for at least a couple of months.

So, really sorry, but I won't be answering PMs or checking in at all since I won't have access to the internet!

I had to share because I'm beyond emotion right now.

A few of you know that I'm studying the viola at university and I've had a shitty year of it. I started to see that I might not be able to finish my degree here, so back in January, I thought I'd apply to another university - just in case everything went to hell and I needed a way out - since applications are due in January.

So the day I left to drive 2400kms I found out that one of my favourite profs would not be returning...
