I did something notoriously absent-minded.
I was supposed to call in for jury duty last month and I forgot.
Then I got a letter telling me I missed it, which I didn't open until yesterday, telling me I have a rescheduled jury duty (that I'm no longer eligible for on call service with, so I have to go there regardless of if they need me) this Friday.
Naturally, I have a trip that I've been planning for a very long time this coming weekend.

A lot of people come on the forum and tell other people that they are using words incorrectly.
Turns out many of these people are incorrect themselves.
You're on the goddamn Internet, people. Free dictionaries are everywhere. Look at one before you post an incorrect correction to someone else's post.
