I thought the Federal gov would never do anything for my city. Windsor is floundering really bad. Our economy sucks and is only getting worse. Our city lives from the auto industry and at one time we had 4 Ford plants, 3 GM plants and 3 Chrysler plants.

The Federal gov just announced it will help keep jobs in Windsor by "bailing" out Ford.

Now all we need is to get the Feds and the Provincial gvt off their asses and fix the damn border.

Canada has very clear laws against hate groups. Their M.O. is simply illegal in Canada. Either they were ignorant of this, or arrogant enought to think that they can protest anywhere they want.

In case anyone heard that the Westboro Baptist Church was planning to come to Toronto (you can go to godhatesfags.com to check them out, but I don't recommend it...) to protest, they never made it.

I'm guessing either they got turned away at the border or they hit rush hour on the 401.

I was kind of disappointed. I wanted to get my picket on.
