So...we were out on Friday night. I don't know how but somehow it got around to talking about my family.

I should mention that my friend I was out with is the only person in the world that I have told who my "real" father is.

The conversation was that a guy in the bar looked like someone we know. As it turns out, that guy we know is my father's nephew. My friend said "who is it again?" and I told him...and he said he saw the resemblance. I said "really?"....

I received my huge and perfectly formed, 32 inches of HDTV love muscle today. With stand and DVD player that plays anything (even .avi files from a CD etc).

The stand...is where my happiness falls into a pit of spikey flatpack hell. Well not flatpack hell. But assembly required purgatory. Will I make it through to HDTV heaven?

The instructions are in 'Engrish'. Apparently the contents include 'big road', 'small road', 'aluminum round' and 'worms'.
