I am an Alpha Female!
I AM HAVING A FREAKING PERIOD!
It is njqt466's fault. She was having a period while she was here and I guess my body absorbed just enough of her free flowing estrogen and here I am.I received this e-mail today and laughed so hard I almost cried. The friend who sent it is 58 years old and she thought post-menopausal.
I have all the symptoms, too -- teary eyed, cramps, tender breast, achy calves. I was constipated yesterday and am just the opposite today and I've been needing more sleep. Yep all the symptoms. Did I recognize them. Hell no. I haven't had a period since October.

I however, being the strong Alpha Woman that I am, caused her uterus to kick into high gear and give her a period complete with cramps and other annoying symptoms after an eight month reprieve. 
For anyone who had doubts, I AM A WOMAN!

| | Funny you mentioned that Exwhysee, it just so happens Atlanta Pride Festival is next weekend. Coincidence I think not.  FWIW - My cousin and I used to make up synchronized swimming routines in the backyard pool in Jersey when we were young. |

| | You think I am joking? My grandmother was almost 50 when she had my mother. My aunt had to have the doctor go in and end her periods for her because she was about to cross the 60 line and still menstruating. We shall see how long I will continue to have monthly battles with Alabama (The Crimson Tide). |
