Masculine energy: How to define it?

I watched a show on [I]National Geographic Channel[/I] a few nights ago. It was about Crop Circles. One scientist, a somewhat nerdy man in about his 30s, said that he didn't believe that the crop circles were a result of aliens or mystical beings. He said, "I think crop circles are a manifestation of masculine energy. It's kind of weird, but I can relate to the idea of getting together with friends in the middle of the night in a dark field and making circles...."

Masculine vs feminine men

I heard a while ago that often times women prefer feminine men and it is (straight) men who like masculine men. I heard that there's one exception: during the period when women are ovulating; during that time they like feminine men.

Any thoughts?
