Balance: It's Essential

when you ask someone to define the word balance, they instantly think of equilibrium. which isn't balance. following, is an example of what defines balance, so we're all on the same page.
let's say we have a scale. y'kno the kinds most drug dealers use to weigh their drugs? let's say, we put 2 grams of cocaine on one side, and something else that weighs 2 grams on the other side. the scale will be balanced perfectly. which is equilibrium. neither side higher than the other. this is NOT balance,...

so let's stop pretending to ourselves propagatin' that knowledge is power. the slogan bugs me, and so do the ones that believe it. the two aren't even directly related. indirectly related yes. first of all ..in regards to power, i'll speak in reference to your civilization.... society, your peers, or even the entire global population.
think about it.. if knowledge was power... the libraries should be labeled so... and if that's the case, the internet could...
