Adrian's musings
The earth moved and shook withal...
Shortly before One this morning I had something of a rude awakening. At first I thought it was nothing more than a bad dream but then I realised what was happening - an earthquake. We get them on rare occasions in dear old Blighty but they're rarely as severe as the one this morning. Needless to say it made the top item on the early morning news. It was the worst we've had in 25 years - or so we're told. Thankfully reported structural damage is fairly minimal and there has been only one recorded injury so far. I think we have to be thankful that it wasn't far worse. I'm glasd I'm not the only person for whom the earth moved last night - if not in the sense that I'd have liked!

| | Heh heh, I was in the chat room when tremours started, along with a few other UK members. We all felt it - very strange, a little scary and quite exciting - and that is just the chat! At first I thought it was the Mother-Ship coming back for me. ![]() |
