Stupid Questions

There is a saying that no question is stupid....wait till you hear this one.

I purchased some chicken salad at a Supermarket. When I started to eat it I found a bone in it. When I went to return it the lady asked me "was it supposed to be boneless?"

HHHAAAA HHHAAAAAA!!

Unbelievable, right? Did you laugh to her face?

do they charge extra for bone-in-chicken salad?


After all, you are getting a little extra!

That is truly a stupid question, but please allow me to contribute. I am an attorney and was once in court when another attorney asked a witness, after confirming the time of the incident "So your testimony is it was approximately 11PM. At night?"

But wait. It gets worse. After the witness answered "Huh? Yes. Of course. 11PM is at night". The attorney, attempting to set up a GOTCHA and in the process cleverly redeem himself followed with, "Well how dark was it that night?"

I shit you not. That is just how it went. I was astounded that such an individual was able to find the courthouse, much less get through law school and pass the bar exam.

And there's also stupid answers.

I was working at this restaurant a few years ago, local joint not too well known outside of the area. A customer ordered a drink and asked the cashier "Can I get that with light ice?"
The cashier responded, baffled by the question and completely serious: "Ma'am, all of our ice is fat free."

Did someone laugh? I know I couldn't have stopped myself from laughing!
And as for the supposedly boneless chicken salad, it is simply admirable. She should write scripts for SNL.

Tell the store you have a bone to pick.
