They are a desert night print, and they were from kmart.

I save the white ones for when I want to pretend to be a virgin. After I ummm poke them, they know I'm lying.

Some white jacquard sheets from Linens 'n Things. They're decent summer sheets. Next time I go to Ireland I'm getting some linen sheets for summer.

Springmaid in a lavender & light blue floral. My grandmom and mom swear by Wamsutta. Turns out Springmaid is a subsidiary of Wamsutta. Who knew? I prefer at least a 300 thread count and usually purchase my sheets at T.J. Maxx or Marshall's.

OMG! You are so gay! Straight men probably don't even know sheets come in linen.

Some cream colored cotton sheets from Bed Bath and Beyond. 400 count with the softest hand I've found in sheets in a long time. Smooth, almost satiny feel to them. Just checked, no name on the label.

Some 1000 thread count white sheets I bought at the Souq Al-Khiamiyya bazaar in Cairo four years ago. I paid 250$ for the set. Before that, I found some others at the bazaar in Istanbul, paid nearly twice as much and I'm sure I got ripped off.

I don't like anything but white sheets.

Forgot to list mine-they are some weird box-print I picked up at JC Penney over in the Newport Centre Mall. I also got some sheets with idiotic palm trees on them.

Linen sheets are the finest bed clothes fabric there is. Exceptionally cool in summer due to linen's unique properties, and they should last a lifetime with proper care. The first time I went to Ireland I bought a set and they were promptly destroyed when my father, trying to be helpful, chucked them in the dryer. I just about had apoplexy because they cost me a little over $700. Linen IS expensive, but very worth it.

My winter sheets are German-made flannels and wonderfully cozy. It's tough to get out of bed in winter!

Wow. Quite a price for a purchase at a bazaar.
What is a more standard thread count, vince?
And how have those sheets stood up to four years of wear?

anything with a thread count of 400 or more; prefer blues, reds and beige.
