I went to Northern Illinois University in the late '87-'91. I don't remember any gloryholes there.

I wasn't exposed to gloryholes until I went to my first porn store. That was a wild experience, to say the least. Also some of the public restrooms on the lakefront in Chicago had gloryholes in the late 90s. The park maintenance people tried to plug them up, but it seemed like guys were really determined to keep the holes there. I saw a few guys getting arrested outside of restrooms at the lakefront...
