Moaning during Sex

Do you moan during sex, and if so, why? Is it controlled or uncontrollable? I don't make noises because I don't see a reason to, doesn't mean I like sex any less I don't think, but I don't understand why people, women specifically, make so much noise. Halp?

I think it's totally hot to hear a woman or a man moaning naturally during sex. But if it's forced or fake, I don't get that & it's not a turn on, in fact that's distracting. But the natural noises (or increases in breath) women or men make are a major turn on for me.

I do agree that it is a helpful indicator but if that's the case it's not because they feel the urge to do anything but communicate.

Exactly, what I am trying to figure out is whether it is voluntary or not for most. I agree I think.

I guess I moan a little, but it's something I can stop if I want to. It's just funner to make a few noises to let your partner know you're enjoying yourself. I bet most people that moan or make nosies can control it if they want to, but most of them just like to make some sounds.

That is one answer to my question. So it isn't something to be surpressed minus times when screams are imminent for one reason or another. I definitely thank you for this information and your opinion; I think I agree with you on this, but unfortunately I haven't had one female answer.

Not making any noises seems kind of creepy. Like sex with a zombie or an android. You don't have to moan, but say something, be engaged. Sex is intimate, and being silent gives the impression of being distant.

My husband doesn't moan when he is fucking me but he says lots of nasty things that really turn me on and it adds a lot to the pleasure. He DOES moan when I suck him, though.

Well, the girlfriend of mine with the strongest orgasms would yell "YES" very loud during orgasms, but I know she could hold back if we needed to be more discrete. The yelling just made it more enjoyable. I can't make any noises during orgasm. My stomach locks up and I can barely breath.

I'm pretty vocal during sex but it took me a while to untrain myself from not being 'natural'. It's totallly hot hearing people react spontaneously.
