Can you "crack" your dick?

You know people can crack their knuckles and other joints? Well I can kinda do that with my dick. While hard, if I push the base of my dick down there will be a popping sound. Does anyone know what this is? It's almost become like a habit now, I do it pretty much every time I'm hard. Is this OK?

When guys get lengthening surgery, that's the ligament the doctor cuts to give more apparent length. While your apparent length is extended, your penis may not have as high an angle when erect as it did before.

I can do that as well. No clue what it is, but I've yet to notice any permanent effect and have been aware that I can do it for at least 1 year now. Its quite loud, but I can only get maybe 1 of these in per day or so and only when hard, of course ( not that I actually do it that often).

I can do it, When I'm hard I can put my left hand at the top base of my shaft and push my dick down a little and if it dont pop then all I have to do is pull up on it a little with my right hand while pushing down. Its not a real loud pop for me but it pops so you can hear it. I have done it since I was 14 (18 now) and have not noticed any difference in anything.

Why would I want to do that?

Crack my dick? When it's rock hard, the thing won't even move slightly.
