Ya know, I've wondered this a lot myself. I used to go along with the train of thought "well if he got hard, he wanted it, it wasnt rape" I have since learned men get erections in some very unsexy situations, (like fistfights)- I can remember making boyfriends swear to me if they loved me no way could they get hard and a would-be rapist would be wasting her time.
hah.
Even I think if a man intensely dislikes a woman- if she can push the right buttons so to speak- it can happen.
violent rape I think falls in a different category than what I imagine, cos say a guy is mugged on the street- beaten up a bit- and say the muggers a guy who wants to watch his woman get off on the victim. I mean, if she started sucking him, if he's not unconscious, wouldn't the inevitable occur, though it would still be rape?
this is a tough issue- often why they've had such difficulties in sentencing female teachers for affairs with teenage students. No one it seems, believes its rape if the victim has a penis.
