Back then, they were too busy just trying to get men for photo shoots. At least Greg Anderson looks like a real man. These days, trying to get the men to pose looks so phoney and they all look like twinks. Seems like what sells today are men with a little bit of scruff but otherwise are hairless. Reminds me of the mid year Phoenix GLBT event (not Pride because it has a few other attractions), I think it is called Rainbow Days or something like that. Anyway, a friend and I were walking behind a couple of other dudes and this vendor called out to him if he wanted a free body wax. Dude walks up to her and says "I'm a man, men are hairy, why would I want to change what I am for you?" Right on dude!
My vote goes to Bill Cable. I've been lusting over this guy since I was 5 years old! Sadly, he died in a motorcycle crash.
He used to model for COLT Studios under the name Stoner.
