Of course, if there just so happens to be a cute girl seated next to me, well I'll have to get over the shyness and try to strike up a conversation.

Airplanes are fun. I always get the window seat. I get nauseous on roller coasters and on motion (sickness) simulator rides, but on airplanes if I do start to feel sick I just take deep breaths and it goes away.

They take off really quick and when the wheels leave the ground it is a little scary. Landing is also a little scary, as well as when they turn, which mostly only happens after take off, and final approach so they can get in the right direction. If you hit turbulence it is a little spooky too, but the pilot will usually warn you to put your seat belt on ahead of time.

When I went to the Bahamas a few years ago the girl in the middle seat clung to my wrist and her boyfriends wrist as we were taking off. She was very nervous, but mostly during take off.

I have noise cancelling headphones, so that's my only worry is not hearing the announcements.

I bought a leather carrying case for mine, but it didn't fit. I blame Wal Mart for false advertising. Their tag said 17", but the site of the company who makes the bags say 15".

You should watch pulp fiction and blast the headphones. English mother fucker! Do you speak it? Or Clerks II.

Good luck with the cute girl scenario.

You will probably see the seat belt sign blinking.

Two of my favorites! And you will know my name as the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon thee!!

I'm also bringing Super Troopers and Beerfest because my best friend from Arizona, who will be there too, has never seen them. I'm like dude, I'm making you watch them!

Recently I flew from atl to edinburgh and they delayed the flight an hour for they were working on the left engine in full view of us in the terminal, on stepladders, with flashlights and a tool box. I was the only one who did not sleep on the flight.
Three weeks later on the return from london it was pissing down rain and the pilot came over the intercom to tell us they could not get the engines started so they were waiting on a vehicle that would come over and start them for us(?), so it would be another 30 minutes. Lovely.
Denver btw can be pretty rough as far as turbulence because of the mountains so don't freak out if you run into some.
