P.S. If you're wondering about the "see-through" factor... Check out any number of sites, where women, bra-less, and wearing black tops (and not even sheer ones), are photographed in dark rooms, or against dark backgrounds, with a flash.

Michael Phelps has a gorgeous body and a great personality for someone of his accomplishment, but he's not way hung in proportion to his height... like most tall guys and champion swimmers. This I have been told by a close friend who swam at his training pool in high school.

Still, I'd do him in a heart beat. While watching him compete last night, I kept thinking of my face buried in his ass and hearing him moan with delight.

His commercial for the LZR suit from Speedo is quite erotic.

It takes a lot of balls to take a pic like that for a national advertising campaign. More power to him. He's a great role model for guys who feel a great deal of shame about their bodies.

A few other facts about Michael Phelps. He has size 14 feet and his arm span is slightly longer than 6 feet and is longer than he is tall.

I just pray that the Track and Field world adopts the suit as well. Can you imagine Tyson Gay, Usain Bolt and Asafa Powell running in that thing?!!

It is kind of weird that he tucks up instead of down in that picture because the suit's so revealing. Maybe because when he is tucked down in the other picture you can't see anything - almost like they airbrushed his bulge off. Maybe they did.

Wow, they really neutered him in that pic. (Wasn't there a big fiasco a few years ago when some photographer got fired for photoshopping his new photos? As I recall, he was making much more minor changes, but the entire journalism profession seemed to take the position that photos are not to be tampered with. Period.) Ah well, it's USA Today, so I suppose that's to be expected.

I did search around a bit, and found more pics of him, including a couple of him in an earlier version of the body speedo. I also found a pic of him bulging nicely in a light gray body speedo, but I can't post the link because there are a couple of teenagers in the background.

Having looked at several pics of him, I have to say that in some pics he looks really good, in others he's kind of funny-looking. The pic of him in the LZR body suit is not a very good pic of him. Maybe it's the lighting or something, but I think he's kind of funny-looking in that pic. I also think the suit itself is kind of funny-looking. The only thing I like about it is how revealing it is.

Here's a pic of another guy in the Speedo LZR. It looks like he's tucking down.

On a more serious note, I'm a bit concerned by the implications gaining an advantage based not on their abilities, but on their equipment. To some degree I realize that's inevitable, since certain equipment of some sort is part of most sports, but where do we draw the line? This may sound like science fiction, but a day may come (perhaps sooner than we expect) when we have the ability to integrate technology into our bodies. They've already invented computer chips that can be implanted under the skin (like the ones put in pets) that give people access to their offices and will even boot up your computer for you when you enter the building.

When we have the technology to do it, will we be able to resist the temptation to create super athletes? So far we've never been able to resist new technology, even when we have to give up a little of our humanity for it.

I rather long for the days of ancient Greece when Olympic athletes had to perform nude. Win or lose, it came down to how fast you were, not the amount of drag caused by your suit.
