A few questions if I may: DOes FF have Auto-Fill? What are extensions and add-ons? thx in advance.

No I know the GTB has auto-fill but does FF let you install it on it.

yes, i have just installed it. FF doesnt have its own autofill feature, atleast not to my knowledge.

D/L'd it. But damn I can't uninstall the Yahoo toolbar! Ack!

Disable it if you want.

Add-ons are way more than just GTB - I have add-ons that checks my mail, the weather, let me translate to any language, check Wiki, check the server of the page I'm on, download movies of any site.

Firefox is great, but the best part is all the tiny add-ons

click on tools, addons, find the yahoo tool bar, and click disable. or uninstall it all together.

Click on Tools, then Options, then the Privacy tab and put a check in the box next to "Remember what I enter in forms and the search bar."

Add-ons are Extensions, Themes, Plug-ins and Updates.

Extensions give you more control, such as being able to download virtually every video you encounter (via DownLoad Helper or Embedded Files,) blocking popups, handling graphics, etc.

Themes change the appearance of the browser.

Plug-ins are the usual suspects, such as Quicktime, Java, Windows Media Player - all configured for Firefox.

Thank you all. I will try suggestions. The YT doesn't seem to want to be let go of yet...lol When I try to uninstall it says Cannot load this dialogue. Refresh and try again. Yeah I did that like 30 times...lol

Did you try to right click the toolbar and uncheck the Yahoo one?

I'm amazed how often the NoScript add-on catches attempts to XSS etc. Just today it has saved me 4 times when clicking on external links from posts here at LPSG.
