Hey. I'm fairly new to NYC. It's hotter than hell out right now and I just feel like chilling somewhere naked with other guys. I don't want to worry about diseases or maneuvering out of gay situations though. Anybody know any places in the city where a straight guy can just go to chill, get naked and cool down?

The Cock is a gay bar in the East Village. When it used to be on Avenue A it had a notoriously hot backroom. The Cock in now in The Hole, the bar on 2nd Avenue and 2nd Street. Basement is not as hot as the old backroom.

For a naked hangout on sundays you can go to the Russian & Turkish Baths in the East Village. It's mostly saunas, so a better place to warm up than cool down, although they do have a very cold pool to bring your body temp down. Men only and mostly naked sunday mornings, mix of gay & straight guys of all ages and body types.
