Due To Popular Request: How Much Does An Adult Circ. Cost?

To those of you who've actually had it done:


How much did you pay?

Where did you go to have it done?

Was it embarrassing to call the secretary to make an appointment?

Did you have to pay for an exam visit, or was it included in the final bill?

Etc, etc.


Notice that this is NOT a thread to argue about circumcision, but simply for people to share their real-world experience. Semantics, ethics etc are non-sequitors in this topic!

Did insurance cover it? Out of pocket costs?

I tend to agree. What's done can't be undone, and I have no idea why people want to retroactively deal with this form of topic.

I read fewer and fewer of them, as they communicate less and less.

There's no point to them. All they ever are are people bickering about why their penis is better than someone else's, and no one ever has any unbiased, legitmate, constructive information to provide. It's circumcision, it is what it is, and there really is no need for all of these threads about it. If some people are really THAT concerned about circumcision, to where it is on their mind more often than not, perhaps a visit to the local psychiatrist is in order to get that OCD looked at. Google will provide you people with much better information than just about anyone on here will, use it.

i wish i had something to contribute to the OP but being uncircumcized and too broke to think about it, i will say this:

if you're tired of circumcision threads, you might wanna consider a forum other than one about penises. that's like going to a cooking forum and being mad that someboy keeps talking about pie. circumcision has EVERYTHING to do with penises, it's completely relevent to the forum, and this is one of the more genuine threads i've read. he's asking for specific information and i really apologize on behalf of the people who can't help but post something cutting and sarcastic and rude.

Dude, go read the other 20 circ. threads made this week, and tell me if anything good ever comes from them. I've seen one legitamate thread about circumcision here, and the rest are just useless, uncut vs cut guy battle royales. It gets annoying after awhile. I'm not trying to attack GreekDude here, but come on, "Was it embarassing making an appointment?" "Where did you go to have it done?" What kind of questions are these? I mean, GreekDude, are you truly considering getting an adult circumcision? Or are you just trying to learn everything there is to possibly know about circumcision?

^good point, i was simply taken by the sincerity of his post, he seems to really want information unlike other members who disguise baiting with legitimate questions.

as far as the number of posts, i'm aware, i see them all the time but never click on em, i know i'm uncut and i know it sucks.

and i may be pushing it, but i was taught that there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. however the questions may seem to us, they're generally good questions to ask, even if his wording made the ideas seem simplistic.

either way, i think some of the responses were uncalled for, especially since there is clearly no intent to enflame with the OP. this is the kind of bullying that drives people away from the site:

"What kind of dumb question is that?!?!?!?"

"How dare you ask such a stupid question?"

There are people who come to this site with genuine questions and sometimes that's met with strong criticisms, personally I wish we could post freely on this site without having to worry about who's going to call our ideas childish, stupid nonsense. I simply don't understand the need by some to point fingers and go "Your ideas/questions are DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB DUMB".

TGD, I can't tell you right offhand, but I can find out what the current "usual and customary" charges are. I have a lot of connections in the medical profession/industry.

^please do, inquiring minds wanna know. if it's reasonably priced, i wouldn't mind losing all that extra skin, especially considering how much it hurts everyday cleaning out. i started pulling the skin back and cleaning it during showers at about age 16, 17, i'm 22 now and STILL not used to how much it hurts stretching that skin.
