whoa. potential shitstorm ahead.
| "Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. And then, one not-so-very special day, I went to my typewriter, I sat down, and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people. But above all things, a story about love. A love that will live forever...The End." |

Not surprising coming from a Fox lackey, but still very sad.
The shitstorm approaches indeed.

i swear, Fox News is home to some of the worst people. *thinks of people like Ann Coulter and shivers*
give me someone like Keith Olbermann any day of the week.

I am so glad our satellite provider pulled Fox and replaced it with Al Jazeera. Way better and actually fare and balanced. Every time I see Fox "News", I get angry.

I saw that on Huffpo: it's tasteless, crude and absolutely in keeping with Fox news.

Fair and balanced, baby.
What an odious person. Is Liz Trotta a regular contributor to Fox News? She certainly looks and sounds like one, but I'm always surprised (yes, even when its Fox News) whenever I hear an utterly boneheaded comment from someone who only has to talk on live TV for, like, 120 seconds.
Here's hoping Jon Stewart includes this in his inevitable RFK-gate wrap up next week. Quote:

give me someone like Keith Olbermann any day of the week. | Hmm. I actually don't see Olbermann as being any different from Fox News. Mind you I tend to agree with many of his positions. I just get very turned off by the extremes at either side of the spectrum.
That said, I do appreciate Keith for finally offering an alternative to Fox News, and its kinda sad that I have to compare one man to an entire network. Fox News has had such a disgusting and debilitating effect on American journalism and has led the national discourse for far too long. Perpetuation of the "liberal media" myth is something that has irked me to no end for the past 10 years (about the length of time I've worked in the media spectrum).
There have been times when I've wanted Keith Olbermann to climb through the TV and fuck me into unconsciousness. But that's an entirely unrelated matter. | Demention (nee Slant): "Hotbtminla - wreaking havoc on straight men's orientation percentages since April '07"

curiouser and curiouser
| Starling when he screams, he screams in black and white just like the magpie.
Shattered night then I woke,
not to a lonely lark but to a raven's cry.
If a feather lined with his words becomes a blade
then what, what will it take to make it through another day ? Starling : Tori Amos |

In this country we have right and left-of-right. What were truly liberal positions became demonized as socialist or worse, communist. We're still feeling the effects of the communist witch hunts. It's sad, and dangerous, that our political discourse is so limited in scope.

But that's an entirely unrelated matter. | well, Keith might be seen as part of the extreme point of view, but i find him to be much more realistic and intelligent than most of the hate spewing, idiotic fools at Fox News. Bill O'Reilly crawls under my skin! (but i think Keith had a role to play in that because how he hates and frequently grills O'Reilly). i can still remember John Gibson and those unforgivable remarks he made about Heath Ledger concering his death.
and as far as his sexiness, there was one day where he stared in the camera and licked his lips or something like that. i thought, geez, what a flirty bastard, but then i couldn't stop thinking about what a hot lay he would be...
