A doctor told me that at about 21-22, but not as much as it does like from 12 to 18. Maybe half an inch, max.

Dude, you're fine and bigger than averge. Don't worry about it.

One bit of advice, don't let yourself gain weight. Count on loosing an inch for every 15 or so pounds. While it's still there, it's just hidden away. The same goes for getting lean and cut. If you really work your abs, you can count on looking bigger.
