Ejaculation Control Side Effect w/ Prescription Drugs

OK, not sure how to put this, but will jump right into it. Am seeing someone on a regular basis... and we both are into long bouts of sex. I'm usually multi-orgasmic, but not always.

Ejaculation Control Side Effect w/ Prescription Drugs

OK, not sure how to put this, but will jump right into it.

Am seeing someone on a regular basis... and we both are into long bouts of sex. I'm usually multi-orgasmic, but not always. Often after the second time... I'm kinda done for... need to doze off, then go again in the middle of the night if circumstances warrant it.

So, I was curious about delaying my orgasm... just to push the limits. Recalled a close friend who confided that he was taking a medication for anxiety. I'm not going to mention it, but he said it makes him anorgasmiac, and if/when he does want to have an orgasm, he has to plan ahead and skip a dose or two (even mentioned he sometimes only takes it during the week). But he said, it affected him from the first dose. He asked me all the questions his doctor did (liver disease - no, currently on any ____ prescriptions medicines - no [I'm not on any, and rarely even take Advil, and so on]). Blah blah. He gave me a couple. Researched it on the internet.

I really didn't feel any different within 30 minutes much less 3 hours... save...

I had sex for about an hour to an hour and a half last night (wasn't counting) and absolutely NEVER came close to cumming. Stayed turned on and hard... and I even went to the "fail safe, I need to cum now" positions... and finally got to enjoy them for awhile, and never came. I got the "you haven't cum yet" rhetoric. She knows firsthand the size of my orgasms, so I made up that I was "worried the condom would break, it's a different brand, so I'm not sure " [even though you can fill a condom with a litre of water and they won't break, so don't believe the BS ppl say that they've come so much, it breaks... it's bullshit, and you need to call them on it].

Anyways, thought I'd share that thought. This whole "positive side-effect" psycho-drug thing was news to me, and although probably not the smartest thing to do, I've done far worse with my body.

Perhaps stupid, but trippy.

P.S. - I still have 2 more.

SSRIs (antidepressants) have the effect of delaying orgasm or even preventing it altogether. Been taking a very small dose every second day for a while now, and lasting much better. They also seem to help prevent road rage! LOL The only possible problem is that they seem to permanently rewire the pleasure centres in your brain...jury seems to be still out on this.

Do some research, find out more. I had to cut my initial prescribed dose down, 'cause for a while I couldn't come at all!

What I'd like to know is, do they reduce erectile function too? C's not working so well these days.

yes certain SSRI's can and do kill your sex drive/reduce erectile function. This tends to be the case in most if not all of the older SSRI's, but the newer ones (Paxil, Zoloft, Prozac) tend to not have any negative sexual side effects

The only I know is premature ejaculation is the biggest problem a man can have concerning to sexual relation ship , of course plus erection problems.
But both problems can be resolved with Sidenafil derivates pills , the premature ejaculation just only allow him cum fast as allway (because premature ejaculations problems isen't for sidenafil) , but manteining still the erection ( thanks to Sedenafil ) allow you a second cum , all during a razonable sex period action .
The rest of the problem is penis girth if man have a a regula lenght

This can't be a good enough reason to try meds.

Also, Prozac was the first of the SSRIs... you may be thinking of the earlier antidepressants, that worked via a different mechanism.

Paxil is notorious (or famous) for delaying orgasm. It's a SSRI antidepressant.

Just found the whole thing trippy... and the half, is I did the Jedi tricks to delay orgasm.... not convinced or sure it would work. So maybe there was a placebo effect. I kid you not... that was easily a good 60-90 minutes of headboard breaking action.

A group is meeting up again this eve, and surely she/I will go together. I've still got a couple, and am going to take another, but just let the natural course take it's action.

A-ha!

This is how all the porn stars last forever. They are using Viagra to get it up, and Paxil to keep from popping so soon.

Hmn... I got it, now!

Either that or the ladies in porn have not so tight vaginas. My current FWB gal is so tight, I do NOT last very long.

That's kind of aggravating for me.

A few years, when I was depressed following the death of someone close to me, a doctor friend suggested I see a psychiatrist for an anti-depressant.

For a few months, I was on a low-dose of Lexapro, an SSRI that's supposed to have fewer side effects than older such drugs.

Not certain it did much for my mood (as many as half of all patients find the SSRIs don'tdo much for them).

But I noticed right away that while my libido was strong as ever and my cock hard as ever, I couldn't cum during intercourse and only with difficulty when my GF sucked me. I had no problems when I masturbated.

As we were using condoms, it was easier for me to pretend to cum and then throw away the used condom than explain why I was having trouble. Since I was still hard, she thought I as superman as we had round after round of sex.

Once I stopped the Lexapro, it took about 10 days for my orgasms to return.

Imitrex had the reverse effect with me. I took it for a while. (Dr gave me samples to try) so that I could better manage my migraines.

When the medication began to sooth the pain centers in my brain and I caught it right, jacking off went to another level. The orgasm was intense and somewhat extended. I always edge and hold back, so when the moment finally came I blew a huge load.

Of course I needed a nap afterwards.

I'm taking Lexapro; my Dr. warned me about problems cuming and sexual desire but my depression was a bigger concern so I started to take it. My libido is a bit off, but I can and do get hard (thanks to Cialias).

It takes me just about forever to come even when I am really turned on. It's rare for anyone to get me off; I normally have to whack the hell out of my dick to shoot. Sure is fun getting there; gives me some needed exercise.
