Yeah, I missed your writing practically that same quote at the end of your post. Sowwy, I was 'delirious' , having been awake writing and work for 50+ hours, and I am certain there is a 'goonie goo goo' somewhere in those 12k words.

the best one is in link #6, around the 3 minute mark when he does the kid crying after being hit with the shoe for refusing to kiss Aunt Bunny at the barbeque.

It is the most dead on impression of a kid crying i have ever heard...

I always laugh hysterically at it till I am in tears.

I am at work, but I would if I could.
Is the part where she says "stop crying before I give you some to cry about" and he gives the muffled high pitch cry???

Yep, like you and Faceking, I know the whole thing by heart.

yes it is that part...but not the muffled cry...the one right after it where the mother goes
"I said SHUT UP!!!!" and he does that sort of hiccuping/yelping

uh uh uh uhhhhhhhhhh...uhhhhhhhhhh....(inhales) uhhhhhhhhhh...
and then he goes to his room and says "God...please...kill her...I...hope she gets hit...by a truck...and diiiiiiies....I hate her i hate her i hate herrrrrr"

ROFLMAO

it is at 3:36 mark when he does that

I love it...watch it later and i am sure you will remember it very well! LoL

Eddie was on top of his game. I wish he would do something else along those lines again.

I agree...

but he never will again. It was too fresh and funny at the time, and artists/comedians/singers who create revolutionary stuff only have a relatively short window of time when their creativity is at its true peak.

Eddie will always be able to do great character acting, such as in Bowfinger or Dreamgirls, because he is uniquely talented, but long gone are his "Standup" days. He was untouchable back then and still is in that regard. It was probably the most funny and impactful comedy shows ever.

He was the king of 80s comedy.

Before venereal disease was easy...now they've got AIDS. That kills motherfuckers. I'm thinking "what next"? I guess You put your dick in and explodes?

Don't say he'll do another stand-up. That's heartbreakin'. What does an actor make nowadays for a summer blockbuster? 20 to 30 millions? Eddie could've made that kind of money for Raw no problem. I don't think that paid him that much for making that. They (movie gods) weren't paying anybody for movies like that then.

I know Eddie's Donkey & he was little dragon in Mulan for the kids, had Daddy Day Care & the Haunted Mansion thang...everything with Eddie now is for the kids. How old are his own kids? If they can drive now, then he can go back to cussin' & tellin' those good jokes that we've all remembered from the past. I think he should at least get about 30 million plus DVD rights out of a 'last stand-up' performance. They gave Dave Chapelle 50 million for a TV show.

I'm just gonna hope for Eddie's last stand-up. Just hope a little more each day, hahaha.

Love it! :)

Was that the part with "No, fire shoots out my dick. I was peeing, a bum tapped me on the shoulder, I turned around and burned him up in the damn street is what I'm saying"?

"Sex is a crapshoot and I have thrown my dick on the table many a night"

We (our neighborhood) grew up on 70s and 80s. Both Murphy albums, a handful of Bill Cosby albums (esp. To My Brother Russell, Whom I Slept With, and 200 MPH), George Carlin, then that coke-head album, Reality, What A Concept by Robin Williams.

Oh, and sorry to admit, I think I'm about 75% good...right now... at this moment... to still be able re-recite Cheech & Chongs Big Bambu, Los Cochinos, and The Wedding Album.

Guessing my ilk, will not admit the Dr Demento thing either. (just did a search... and Ivor Biggun came up... a la Bra Size 45... maybe that explains some of my threads) ivorbiggan????
