I am sure it happens as it is a natural function...having said that...
depending on the partner it could go one of two ways. A humorous reaction depending on the severity of the gas or instant repulsion...

Reminds me of a story this dude I know told me. Now keep in mind this is a very large individual, close to 400#.

He was taking a shower with his lady, and she started to give him oral. Well, she made the mistake of pushing into his stomach while she was getting after it. This caused him to fart. Farts from a 400 pund man aren't going to smell like roses. The potentcy of the fart, combined with the heat from the shower, caused her to throw up all over him.

The reaction was a 5 minute break. Can't be doing with such a horrible stench. Kinda funny I guess but it doesnt do well to the initimacy lol

Didn't rip one during oral, i did it while he was brushing his teeth prior to sex. Lifted up the covers...blamed it on the cat.

Sounds like a total mood killer lol. Luckily, I'm like the least gassy guy ever so I've never had that problem. My friends say I don't have the capacity to fart :p
