People who HATE you.

Don't know. Don't really care. One of the first life lessons I learned in college was that there are going to be people that are not going to like you every minute of the day. For whatever reason. Maybe they don't like your personality. Your a positive thinking person and they are negative......and you irritate them like fingernails going down a chalkboard irritate other people. Nobody can please everyone.

People should just agree to disagree when there are differing opinions.

I don't hate anyone. I haven't intentionally done anything to hurt anyone. I am a good person. If anyone wants to waste time and energy hating me that is their perogative.....and I feel like it is their loss.

Even though I disagree with many here at LPSG, I don't project that into disliking a person. It's too bad others can't do likewise.

As for listing those whom I think hate me, I won't do that. The list wouldn't fit in one post and thus would have to be split across several posts to get around vBulletin limitations.

I don't think anyone here really hates me. Those who have said disparaging remarks about me (usually about my looks) have been infrequent posters who have pretty much gone away on their own.

Now there are some people here who I would not get along with, due to their views being something that is a pet peeve of mine, but I try not to go there!

I really hate to argue and just avoid that. I know I wouldn't get along with pronatalist, but most people here have views closer to mine than his, so I'm not worried about that.

Yes, all that, and we can't hear the inflections in the voice that would tell us more about what was meant--and we used to think talking on the phone was limited! But better you further explicated, since ruminating on the word itself, and esp. as it applies to net-talk, is very useful. I think it is already a good thread. At this point, I'll add that even the two people I imagine may 'hate' me may not, and I certainly don't 'hate' them--but I do feel that on occasion there is no point in trying to continue to pretend you 'like' someone, because it can come across as false and more or less says 'kick me'. (and one of these I'm referring to here would DEFINITELY do that to me, given the slightest opportunity.)

It is not my experience that that combination works...like just yesterday, I really did NOT hate this guy whose balls I was licking. I did not hate him AT ALL!
