Eleemosynary

el-uh-mos-uh-ner-ee, -moz-, el-ee-uh-

–adjective 1.of or pertaining to alms, charity, or charitable donations; charitable. 2.derived from or provided by charity. 3.dependent on or supported by charity: an eleemosynary educational institution.

a word that was introduced into English in the early part of the 17th century. “Eleemosynary” means charitable. It is derived from medieval Latin eleemosynarius, meaning “compassion, mercy,” which can be traced back to the Greek eleos, meaning “pity,” sorrow for another’s suffering or misfortune.

Speaking of egregious, what's that word again?

I can correct the spelling in the title if you like as well.

I believe I shall dispense with the supercilious tone of many of these posts, and start with basics:

Its = belonging to it.
It's = it is.
Its' = undefined.
They're = they are.
There = that location which is not "here."
Their = belonging to them.

It'd be a sin if your story didn't make their "testimonials"...

Fascinated originally meant 'enchanted by the sight of the phallus', the romans carried large Phalli in fascine processions, and sang fascine songs to accompany them. Something missing in modern religion.

any forum like this ive been a member of, theres tons of people like this... you gota wonder who they are trying to impress..?
a real genius, or even intelligent person, can make anyone understand anything.. and doesnt need to use overly large words to get their point across or reasure themselves of their intelligence.that being said... using big words doesnt make you smart, or even look smart. it only fools those who are easily impressed. anyone can open a thesaurus , learn a few big words and impress some idiots, but being able to explain yourself to ANY audience, is what makes you intelligent.

what good is a degree from harvard if you can only communicate with other harvard graduates...
