Yes, he was gay for pay. An All Worlds exclusive before they were swallowed up by Channel 1, he did solo and oral scenes, always trade (but at least fuck-off beautiful trade), but did eventually graduate to topping too. He also appeared in All Worlds' bi-porn line. He hasn't done any films for a few years, but I've seen him popping up in mainstream modeling recently.
Amusingly, one film he did (a rather liberal recharacterisation of Mexican folk hero Pancho Villa) required that his big stomach tattoo be completely covered with makeup in order to retain "realism."
