Latest poll amont democrats: Gallop:
73% of clinton supporters will not vote for Obama
Apparently, Clinton has won the independent and blue collar workers, along with the hispanic and white women vote. All of these are mandatory for a general election. Obama cannot win a general election.

I generally identify myself as a Republican, however I follow old school Republican ideas of less government and fiscal conservatism. I'm sorry that boynextdoor does not like Obama, but I feel the exact same way about Hillary - she is banking on her husband's 35 years of experience. . .I don't see her experience.

To answer the original question. . .if Obama wins the Dem nomination, I will vote for him because I believe that he will try to implement change. . .he will reach across the party lines to build consensus. If Hillary wins, I will vote for McCain because I believe (despite his eagerness to stay in Iraq) that he will be a better leader for our country.

Obama's Legislative record:
Daily Kos: State of the Nation

There are 113 pieces of legislation.
That's what he accomplished

But not this year. Not this time. This year we can’t afford the same old politics. Obama 4/18/08

I agree Nick4444 but, thats going to be the case no matter whose elected. If McCain is elected we will be there for years to come and most likely we will be there forever, look at history we rarely leave a country after war

I can't believe that Democrats would be childish enough to boycott a Democrat nominee, which would put another Republican in office. I also think that the Republicans who claim to refuse to vote for McCain because he is not far enough to the right are also childish.

Its not being childish, its being mature enough to step across party lines and vote for a man that has experience, vs. one that has NONE. And I think we are all intelligent enough to realize, that no matter who wins, we will be in Iraq for years to come. It is a dream world to believe that we can pull out in 60 days and it will be fine. It was a mistake to go but there is not way we can withdraw in a short time.

And, I am not trying to be argumentative, I like you Industrial Size, and the good thing about America is that we can debate and not agree on everything.

There is no GallUp poll saying anything even close to 73% of Clitnon supporters will not vote for Obama. If it does exist, please provide a link. And if Senator clinton is doing so well with independent and blue collar workers, along with the hispanic and white women, why is she losing?

Black vote, they are registering like never before, but that will not save him in a general election. And the 73% came verbatim from Campbell Brown, Tueday night on CNN.

Face it, the Democratic party is split, and he is not one to pull it together.
