Shave for bachelor party?

Tomorrow night's my bachelor party. My best man told to make sure that everything is shaved properly. I usually trim everything below the waist to about 1/8 -1/4"? Should I take it further? Do I need to take out a Mach 3?

I'm not even sure shaving of the face is necessary for most bachelor parties. Why on earth would he need to shave below the belly button?

Maybe there will be a little stripper action and his friend wanted to make sure he was all cleaned up down there and looking purty!
