| | | So if i do nude photos for money, am i prostitute because i sell my body in some form?
I don't think legally it would be defined as prostitution to do porn or else it wouldnt be legal.

but I would define it more like this: Quote: |
Those that perform sexual acts they do not want to, or with people they would not have done it for free with, for money.

Why is it OK for me to hire an actress to fuck me on film for the purposes of selling the images, but illegal for me to hire a woman to fuck me purely for my own personal enjoyment?

| | | which job is worse:
abused porn starlet
--or--
septic tank pumper?
One is performed primarily by women, and one, primarily by men.
One makes up to 100 times as much more per hour than the other.
I dont get off on abusive porn, but I must say, I just shake my head, and think, well, at least she made a thousand bucks.

Honestly, I feel more sorry for the septic pumper. His kids ain't proud, his wife ain't proud, and he lives it every day. The porn starlets work exists in the huge, ever more anonymous whirlpool of internet porn, and it gets easier and easier to get lost in the numbers, and put those days behind herself.

| | | I have my own business where i do a physical job that can be disgusting. I get paid well for it. As i should...but there are people who assume since they pay me well they can treat me like shit or require more than my services listed. It happens all the time in every industry where people think you get paid well so put up with it.
Porn participants don't get paid bank or else porn would cost a lot more to the viewers because of overhead being so high. The standards also wouldnt be so low for the activities done on cam if there werent people buying it left and right.
There is an attitude of "Well youre getting paid for it" from the viewers.
When you see pro porn videos with amateur stars, or videos of auditions and try outs....these women may not have been compensated at all. This could have been a test shoot that later got put up for profit and that girl knew whatever she did on cam that day was to be used at the discretion of the production company.
Your glamorous views on how much money is made from all these nameless new faces you see in porn clips on the internet is a fantasization to justify your opinion.

Around here there would be no shortage of applicants to do the job for that wage. So thats relative to the cost of living in your area.
Also, if you assume people make $200 an hour, do you think they work more than a few hours a month? Even big names in the porn industry only get contracts for several movies a year for a set rate. Women wouldnt be seeking to be contract girls with companies if they made so much more as nameless stars. So your hourly rate presumption only sounds really good if you are working full time with that kind of pay. Thats a rarity.

Your comments earlier about these porn performers (and you chose to single out the female ones) were judgemental and unfair. Women don't work in porn because they are lazy whores. It is a fair point. There may well be some lazy whores in porn, but from my limited 2nd hand experience I'm fairly certain they are in the minority. Quote: |

That they are doing what they got paid to do? And that it is substantially more than the avg workers wage?
I guess we have a disagreement on the facts of how much a porn starlet gets paid. Every article that I have read, that dealt with the issue, (incluidng the girls gone wild lawsuit, personal experience, and documentaries, such as this one on Frontline * which I would highly suggest you watch before attempting to continue this conversation with me. It is very, very good, and deals exactly with this issue, including, at the end, a rape porn, doen by a man and wife, in which the frontline cameramen had to leave because they found it so disturbing.
I have a pretty good idea about the average pron starlets payment... and I assure you, it is almost always at least TEN times per hour more than that of the average worker.
*hyperlinked for your enjoyment.

Yes you did - it appeared somewhat grudging, but you did. | New End says he was raised by feminist cult leaders. So his view on women is really fucked up from birth. I'm sure he's come a long way since moving out of his childhood home....but his defensiveness and attitude towards women because of his upbringing is still quite evident.
It makes him feel good to not be ran over in any way by a woman or show vulnerability towards her. He can compartmentalize this topic because its easier for him to get over all of his issues with women if he can picture them being less than he is.
Who predominately buys porn? Who do they gear it towards? I have a feeling if it was for men and women it would look and feel differently. So don't throw that feminest crap at me and MB because this is one industry that is ran by men for men. So don't keep your head in the sand.
