You make it seem like tall and strong men can't also be wealthy and have high social standing. If women had the choice I think they'd take all of the above.

I blame that on the fashion industry. They recently decided the ideal male model should be 6'1" and 140 lbs. I'm not for portly men but, that is just too damned skinny! I guess at this point I am willing to settle, for tall, strong, smart and not a jackass.

What I'm really curious about is how many women share your mindset.

| | | I realize I'm not quite as short at 5'9", but from my experience, at this height most women, even those a bit taller than me, are not put off. Personality can make up for a lot, I guess!
Plus, I just like to think my height makes my cock look even bigger. ;)

Are you trying to be the desire of every woman in the world? If you are, be prepared for disappointment. No man will ever achieve that. If not, chat up every girl who strikes you as hot. Many will bite, many will not. So what if Bette and I wouldn't be interested. (For the record, I do not ignore polite men, and would make you laugh and feel welcome at my table if you were nice and approached my group in a bar/lounge. But I wouldn't try to make a connection to you, and I wouldn't be attracted. Some of my friends would be though, if you're cute.) Learn to sort, and forget the ones who sort you out. You aren't looking for us anyway!

| | | I'm 6'2" tall and my wife is smaller.
She has always said that the only thing that matters to her is my big dick. She said if I was 4' tall, that would not matter, but being hung between the legs is where it is all about. Hope this helps.

LOL | Your honesty is refreshing and there is nothing sexier than a women who tells it like it is. As a short guy, I am not the least bit offended.
Short men are physically inferior to tall men... it's what makes us all so damned ornery. Short man's syndrome is not a myth, as a short guy, I can honestly tell you I walk around with a chip on my shoulder because of being physically inferior to taller men. I take my height with good humor though... I could have been born a midget and am thankful for the height that I do have... that's not to say that there's anything wrong with dwarfs or midgets, they are awesome in their own right.
That's why, in my opinion, there are so many shorter men who are musicians and actors. They are all striving for that approval that society doesn't afford them, so they seek the stage or screen to fill that void.
The average height of the American male has risen two inches in my lifetime. When I was a child, the average height was five foot eight, I think that Snoozan said that the average height of the American male is now five foot ten. Nutrition hasn't changed that much in twenty five years... there must be a more eugenic related explanation for the increase. I think that the answer is in breeding, and you get results in breeding by having personal preferences in the specific physical traits of mates, that bring about the desired traits in the resulting offspring.
Bette ignores short guys and that, in turn, prevents short men from passing their genes on to her offspring... that is eugenics in action. If enough women do this, then an increase in the average height of the male offspring can be achieved.
In the past, men and women needed each other for survival. It has only been a few or so generations since this was the case. Coupling was almost a necessity for our offspring to thrive and survive. In the old days... every man needed a woman and every woman needed a man. This allowed short men to be able to successfully breed. Our great great grandmothers used to have to pick the man who was the best hunter, farmer, builder or tradesmen that they could find, in order to have the best functional family unit that they could. These men were sometimes shorter in stature, but got the job done, so nobody complained. Boy how times have changed. Now, people don't need each other in order to survive, so now most every woman can by and large choose which men they breed with and have the luxury to pick a mate that has the physical features that they prefer.
If I had a daughter, I would want her to marry and have children with the tallest man that she could find that would make her happy. I would want my family's next generation not to suffer from the neglect and disdain of society, I am just being honest.

Number two, you are a modest and sweet guy, that's why you don't walk around feeling superior... plus, it's not about what you think, but about what women think of your height. In my experience, most taller men are quite modest about their obvious genetic advantage over shorter men.
When I mean physically inferior, I mean in the eyes of women. Most short guys are hard workers with a lot of heart, so they fit in quite well among male social circles.
