If lex steel's true size is 9"ish and mandiago is 9.5"ish then what is John Holmes true size? and are their dildo size's true to real life?

I was the best of friends with the late Gary Griffin before his passing in 1996. Through Gary I met a man who was on set with the late John Holmes at many of his porn shootings. A great deal of the legend of JH was related to many factors. He was to most a rather unattractive man in most respects. He had a totally forgetable body and few other characteristics that made him memorable in any way. What that did accomplish was to focus all of the viewers attention on his penis which was way above average. The number that the fellow mentioned who was there and knew him was in the area of 9 inches in length.

Often porn stars are hand picked and then an illusion created by camera angles and other photo trickery. The late Scott O'Hara looked like he was absolutely mammoth in size. What was left out was that Scott was only 5'2" tall and never weighed more than 110 pounds in his life. This made the 8.5 inch penis look to be absolutely monstrous. The story of how this is all done was written down in a gay mag a zillion years ago by Scott before he passed away, in a magazine interview.

Jeff Stryker/Charles Peyton is another one who was a complete optical illusion based on camera angles and other photo tricks. When he was first becoming a "hit" in the business he walked in to a bookstore in West Hollywood and came into a conversation with the clerk who evidently we both knew in common. I was introduced to him by the clerk. I am about 5'9 inches tall. I was looking across the top of his head at that time.

Another one who knew that same clerk was an 80's porn kid named "Lance" and I encountered him there many times. He was made to look larger in height than he was by careful usage of props and camera angles. I would guess that "Lance" was no more than 5'5" tall and with great proportion that again made his penis look larger than it in fact was.

Remember that successful porn creates an illusion that gets you off. The creation of that illusion is to give your mind someting with which to make comparisons so that your mind fills in what the camera cannot.

It is really kind of neat how well all of this is thought out. It is something that few think about. Most just watch and enjoy.

Reminded me of the one photo I saw of "Long Dong Silver". Ugly.

Yeah, the JH illusion was pretty good. Better than Mandingo or Lex Steel as both of their dicks come across as very long but not girthy.

JH was scrawny but his dick was meaty and it had a bit of a curve to it, so looked massive. But I still see it and swear it's about 13" and can't believe the claims that it was only around the 9.5" mark. Fantastic magic.
