I had mine cut 20 yrs ago -- the best thing I ever did. Never once regretted it.

It might have been nice if your father could have supported you by saying there was nothing wrong with you as you are, instead of telling you that you had to change to fit in.

I put some vitamin e cream on the foreskin and head then pulled it slowly back so the end of the foreskin slips into the slot just behind the head. It's stayed there for the past two weeks. Now I don't have any inflammation of the foreskin or itchiness that I used to have on a regular basis.

The only real reason to get circumcised if you ask me is if you have inflammation etc so if you're able to eliminate that issue by simply being permanently retracted then there's no need to cut anything off.

Why do you want to lop off your foreskin? To look like "everyone else" ? tight foreskin that is hard to retract? Religious reason?

Seems to fully retract :) The foreskin covers the head of the penis protecting it and making it more sensitive when it's uncovered. Without this protection, the glans becomes dry, calloused, and desensitized from exposure and chafing. If you are circumcised there is a greater possibility that you'll have to have more quick and harder thrusts having sex to get the same feeling.

Smell, etc... they make a nifty thing called SOAP and WATER. It seems to work amazingly well when used on a daily basis.

I read that some evolutionary scientists think that the combination of the head of the penis and the foreskin provide a suction action to well draw out any sperm from the vagina left by someone else. ... you have a dickhead and skin so when you're fucking a gal your dick will help to pull out any sperm from a dude who fucked her an hour before you did... imagine if we were bonobo chimpanzees... that might be useful to have a suction device if you wanted to father a kid, and know it was yours :-D

Unless there is a medical reason (which is extremely rare), like a particularly tight and painful phimosis, then I can see no reason to get circumcized. That is, unless you really really have wanted to for a long time and seriously think you would be happy that way.

It is a decision only YOU can make.

If you have a strong desire to get cut, and that desire is long lasting and/or increasing, and you often think about it, then perhaps circumcision is the answer for you.

If this is just a passing fad and you're just reacting to peer presure, then you might regret the snip because it wasn't a deep personal desire.

Think of it in terms of a sex change. When a person has strong enough convinctions that they belong to the other sex, they are ready to go through "the" operation, even if their sex organs might or might not be better/worse.

If you are convinced you want to be cut, then you just need to take a leap of faith and be ready to live with the results. You will adapt to your new penis no matter how it turns out and eventually, it will feel natural to you. Once done, there is no point in having any regrets since you can't go back.

If you get circumcised for the right reasons, you are likely to really enjoy your new penis and the worries in the previous paragraph will vanish quickly and the only thing you'll regret is not getting it done earlier.

You are an adult and you can do whatever you want. That being said, just remember... you can't go back once it's done. It is surgery and you could always end up with serious complications. (Including LOOSING your cock!)

Besides, you have a really nice cock and the skin is pretty tight already. You look almost cut anyway.

For myself I love being circumcised and I'm proud to be cut but not everyone on lpsg has had the same happy experience as me and so hate being circumcised.
So my advice is look at all sides of the debate but then make a personal choice

It's your body, your choice and your money. Non-circumcised men are the majority world-wide, and it's apparently becoming less common in America. If you personally feel it would improve your sex life? Go for it, but don't do it just to fit in; that's the worst reason you can do it.
